My name is Philip L. Roberts, MD. I had the privilege of graduating from the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine and completed 2 years of General Surgery, then become board certified in Emergency Medicine, practicing in this specialty for over 25 years. My own issues with lack of concentration, energy, and fatigue prompted me to get my hormones tested after having read “Ageless” by Suzanne Somers. My hormone levels were low and by getting them replenished and reestablished where they should be, I found that most of my symptoms disappeared. I was able to go back to having concentration, stamina, and energy that I had years before. My laboratory tests improved dramatically as did some of my physical strength.
I love this type of medicine. Soon thereafter I became the medical director at a hormone replacement clinic and knew I needed to get educated on how to treat my patients correctly. I have had the privilege of being involved in the A4M “American Board of Anti-aging Functional and Regenerative Medicine” since December 2010, obtaining Advanced Diplomat in 2013. I will complete my Masters in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine at the University of South Florida in August 2014. I love this type of medicine where we seek to ask, not only, “what is wrong but why is it wrong?” This then leads to how can we go back and rebuild the system that is not functioning correctly by giving the body what it needs to heal itself. By taking the best of conventional and functional medicine I feel that the patient has the best chance to improve.
In 2013 I opened a practice, Balanced Life & Health, in the Nashville area. Our website is www.balancedlifeandhealth.com. We are still accepting patients and look forward to serving those that might be interested in coming to us. Our phone number is (615) 369-6330. And again, if you are looking for what I consider to be the best supplement replacement regime you can be on, go to www.drphil.idlife.com, take the assessment, and order the product.
I would like to personally thank Janie for the opportunity to be involved in this project. I appreciate her willingness to help correct and establish the proper care of the thyroid gland around the world. She has been a voice in the wilderness for a long, long time and deserves much credit for helping correct this condition.
