In Hashimotos disease, an autoimmune attack on the thyroid, the Antithyroglobulin is the antibody which attacks the key protein in the thyroid gland called the thyroglobulin.

Thyroglobulin is a protein which is essential in the production of the T4 and T3 thyroid hormones.
