In the UK, Carolyn was put on levothyroxine and had classic symptoms of continued hypothyroidism. She convinced her doc to put her on Armour, and she got her life back!

After trying for 2 years to get some relief for dreadful menopause symptoms with no success, I was diagnosed with Hashi’s. As I’m in the UK, I was immediately put on 50mg Levothyroxine, which after 3 months was raised to 75mg.

After a couple more months I still wasn’t feeling better, in fact I was feeling worse, with appalling brain fog, extreme fatigue, blurry vision, aching hips, legs and feet, digestive problems, bloating etc etc. My dose was raised to 100mg and within a couple of days I knew it was too much.

I asked my Dr if I could try Armour thyroid (on a private prescription) and started on 1/4 grain and raised gradually until I’m now on 2 1/2 grains. Although my Dr knew very little about NDT, he allowed me to make my own choice, which is almost unheard of in the UK and I am very grateful for that. I am feeling so much better now – I’ve got my life back!!
