I am a 50 year old woman and I was placed on Synthroid for hypothyroidism at age 36 because I was having difficulty conceiving. I had suspected I was hypothyroid since I was about 32 years old due to fatigue, brain fog and hair loss. I begged doctors to treat me but they said my bloodwork was normal. I was a Registered Nurse by age 22 and graduated from Chiropractic College by age 32 so I had a strong suspicion I was clinically hypothyroid but could not gain the agreement of an MD.
I was finally given Synthroid and had two babies in my late thirties. By my mid 40’s I began to feel unwell. I was tired, gaining weight, feeling mildly depressed, weak and most disturbing, foggy in the brain. At one point I became highly anxious with an impending sense of doom. Over the course of 5 or 6 years I sought the help of several MD’s, Naturopaths and Chiropractic nutritionists. I continued to feel poorly. I had tried absolutely every type of thyroid medication, natural thyroid supplements as well as T3 and T4 combinations.
I took 4 years of adrenal support and nameless other supplements in an attempt to heal my adrenals. I felt a little better but continued to gain weight, feel achy, feel tired and down.
I stumbled upon Paul Robinson’s book this year while reading Janie Bowthorpe’s Stop the Thyroid Madness. (Ironically, one of my patients told me about the book). Instinctively I knew this would be my answer and I ordered it immediately.
I started CT3M May 14th 2012. I made many blunders along the way but persevered through some very difficult times. For me there was a huge learning curve to understand all the nuances of the method and what my adrenals needed. The support for this method was tremendous via a patient forum and I would not have been successful without the help of others applying this method and without Paul himself. I have been on the CT3M for 5 months and I am beginning to feel well again. I have sustainable energy throughout the day. I have the energy and strength to exercise. I can think clearly and my mood is improved. I feel a great deal of hope that I finally have the physical strength, stamina and clarity of mind to begin enjoying my life again. I still have some hurdles to jump with regard to my health but I now feel I have a logical framework I can apply to my health in which to achieve it.
This comprehensive approach to thyroid care which takes into account blood sugar, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, adrenal function, autoimmune response and diet is the most thorough and integrated program that I have come across. Before stumbling on Paul Robinson’s Book I had attended a multitude of seminars. I had educated and treated myself to the best of my ability. The Circadian T3 Method for Adrenals was the final piece that I needed to pull it all together. This method is a brilliant discovery for which I will be eternally grateful. It fills a huge void in modern thyroid care. I hope that soon this method will be readily available to all patients through their family doctors and endocrinologists so that this needless suffering will end.
